Battery Power TV: Atlanta Braves overcoming early injury storm, hold best record in baseball again

Despite dealing with injuries to multiple key players already this season, the Atlanta Braves find themselves in a familiar place after three weeks of play -- holding the best record in MLB.

Coming off a 5-1 road trip, the Braves return to Truist Park for their longest homestand of the young season, but they to do so without the services of All-Star second baseman Ozzie Albies. He landed on the injured list after suffering a fractured toe on Monday. How will Atlanta adjust to the loss of Albies? Much as they have with Sean Murphy and Spencer Strider, the Braves will rely on their depth to get them through.

One reason for Atlanta's success is the offensive firepower of the lineup. Marcell Ozuna has been the club's most valuable player in the early going, but Ronald Acuña Jr. appears to be finding his MVP form as well. Meanwhile, Orlando Arcia may not be the biggest name, but he continue to find ways to help the Braves win games.

Grant McAuley and Kris Willis of Battery Power recap the recent road trip and preview the nine-game homestand on the latest episode of BPTV. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe to the channel. Check out BatteryPower.com for the best Braves talk and analysis.
